I'm really not sure how something like this can happen but I have lost access to your products. My favorites, passwords, DuckDuckgo, background, and everything. I thought that once I signed into Firefox again all these saved items would come back but nothing has. It's like someone pushed a button and changed my world using all the products that you offer. I don't know how to retrieve these needed items and I'm hoping hard you can return my Mozilla world to me. I don't really understand how this could have happened but I'm hoping it wasn't something I did. I can't give you any hints that might explain how something like this could happen. When I tried to sign into firefox Microsoft Edge offered to provide the password but I don't want to go near their products. It seems when you go that way Microsoft will add a dozen things I don't want. I'd like to thank you for any and all help you can provide to me. Also thanks for your time. Most sincerely, Robert Auerbach

Firefox accounts login is for the forum and sync.

Using Firefox account for Sync and support.mozilla.org is just two of the nine Mozilla services that the Firefox Accounts can be used for. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/access-mozilla-services-firefox-account

Sounds like you tried to sign into your Firefox Account at https://accounts.firefox.com/signin while using the Edge web browser and not the Firefox web browser.

I thought I made it clear that all of my Mozilla accounts disappeared. All that was left was windows related search and homepage. So I could not sign in straight into Firefox because it wasn’t there anymore. All your products were not available to me. When I reinstalled Firefox and signed in shouldn’t all my account info like passwords and favorites just come back? I thought that once I signed in all the things like Duckduckgo and my chosen backround would have simply reappeared. Isn’t that why I have an account with you? I guess you don’t retain that info into my Firefox account? It was something I thought was part of having a account that I sign into using a password that is required to sign-in. How do I get my passwords that I saved on Firefox? Are they gone now? What is the point of signing into my account if my all my saved info doesn’t come back when I sign in again? Also, I’m just a normal joe and I don’t understand everything there is to know about computers so if you can just list the steps I need to do so I can get back to how I set up my PC so the things I use from Mozzilla can simply be restored if something like this happens again. Thank you, Rob Auerbach
