I want the full range of VCF fields available in CONTACTS. Instead I get only about 10 not so good ones
I wish to customize Thunderbird Contacts to show more of the fields inherent in VCF. VCF offers the following fields: First Name,Last Name,Display Name,Nickname,Primary Email,Secondary Email,Screen Name,Work Phone,Home Phone,Fax Number,Pager Number,Mobile Number,Home Address,Home Address 2,Home City,Home State,Home ZipCode,Home Country,Work Address,Work Address 2,Work City,Work State,Work ZipCode,Work Country,Job Title,Department,Organization,Web Page 1,Web Page 2,Birth Year,Birth Month,Birth Day,Custom 1,Custom 2,Custom 3,Custom 4,Notes
Tbird Contacts omits by default: Notes, all custom fields, Home Address, Birth year, month day, etc. how do I get these fields to show on the screen, when I am in Contacts? my version is 78.13.0 (64-bit) Using Linux Mint. Also, is there a mobile app for Tbird? I was wondering if I could run it on my Android Cell Phone.

The full range of vCard fields is available with the CardBook add-on.

There's no mobile version of TB, and none being developed.
Thanks for the suggestion. I installed cardbook add on and now there is still no difference.
so I told this to [email protected]
I added your add-on to my ThunderBird 78.14.0 64 bit. contacts manager. It did nothing. Cant even tell how to launch it, cant tell if it is there or not. Certainly gained access to no new VCF fields like I was hoping. System: Kernel: 5.4.0-86-generic x86_64 bits: 64 compiler: gcc v: 9.3.0 Desktop: MATE 1.24.0
wm: marco dm: LightDM Distro: Linux Mint 20.2 Uma base: Ubuntu 20.04 focal
What did I do wrong.
If you have the correct version for 78 (62.5) installed and enabled, select Tools/Cardbook to open it in a tab.
