After a Firefox version upgrade, my URL bar search shortcut for Russian Wikipedia has begun to fail. Say, if i search for Диснейленд (Disneyland in English), wikipedia reports that the page does not exist, showing the error message like in the attached screenshot. I've tried recreating the search shortcut, but to no avail, it still shows the error. How do i fix the situation?

This is also true for other Cyrillic languages, for example Bulgarian. For example, when I search for България (Bulgaria), it shows the same error.

Is this with a builtin search engine or with a search engine you installed or with a keyword bookmark you created via "Add a Keyword for this Search…" or otherwise ?

This is a search I've created using Add a Keyword for this Search from Wikipedia's own search bar. A similar search I've created the same way for English Wikipedia works. Previously, before a Firefox version upgrade, the Russian one had worked as well.

Does it make a difference whether you use %s or %S in the bookmark to substitute the search parameters ?

hmm Well, currently, when I use the "Add keyword for this search" function at Wikipedia Russia home page, it operates the following way: Say, I create a custom search with the shortcut set to "wr", and type "wr Диснейленд" (Disneyland in English) in the address bar. It then tries to access the following URL: https://ru.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?search=%D0%94%D0%B8%D1%81%D0%BD%D0%B5%D0%B9%D0%BB%D0%B5%D0%BD%D0%B4&title=%u0421%u043B%u0443%u0436%u0435%u0431%u043D%u0430%u044F%3A%u041F%u043E%u0438%u0441%u043A , which ends up in the error message. As you can see, there is no %s parameter in the URL. It has a "?search=" parameter, but the error persists notwithstanding the case of it.
