Have two gmail accounts and would like to manage them through Thunderbird: [email protected] and [email protected] (the second is through g suite). When I try to set up the second account it tells me the incoming server already exists, which is true, I am using the same server names, however the users for each are unique. How do I set up the second account?

What names are you using for the accounts themselves? Make them different.

I typically use the email address as the account name. This makes all the account names unique. In the rare case where for test purposes I might create two accounts in Thunderbird (one POP, one IMAP) for the same email account, I'd include "pop" and "imap" respectively in their names so as to differentiate them. The fact that I can do this shows that the use of multiple Thunderbird accounts using the same server (and even the same email account) is possible.
