I've seen a few others who have this same problem, but none of the offered help for them helped me either.

Adobe Flashplayer crashes constantly, not allowing me to do anything that involves using it. On sites like facebook I'm unable to play games, even on the adobe flash site the flash plugin crashes and won't let me log a crash report as it appears as a single grey crash [image added] (the only way I can is by clicking the yellow popup bar that appears on top of the browser instead). I cannot watch programs on streaming because the plugin crashes.

Flash Player is updated to the latest version. I am unable to right-click and select the option suggested in other similar posts on this forum because the plugin crashes after freezing the page for a few seconds, and even using the settings>control panel>flash player does NOT give me that option to uncheck at all.

I cannot refresh or reinstall firefox because I currently have a few add-ons installed that I need with all the specifics I have saved on them which i would lose prior disinstalling. Starting Firefox in safe mode still crashes the plugin.

I have updated all graphic drivers on this computer through the option on start. I have disinstalled flash player and reinstalled it. I have disinstalled just the firefox plugin and then reinstalled the whole flash player. Nothing seems to help.

Firefox is also updated to its last version.

This happens *solely* on firefox. I have secondary browsers which i use for less important things, but i dislike those browsers (chrome and microsoft edge) a lot and i do not want to move to them at all. On both chrome and edge flash player works perfectly and without a hitch. I do not want to change browser please. Pardon my french but those browsers suck.

I am using windows 10, also updated as of right now.

adding a link to the attached image because it's been uploading since i started writing and it doesn't seem to be uploading at all

If you have problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions then check this:

  • see if there are updates for your graphics drivers

https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration

  • disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Flash 11.3+ on Windows Vista and later)

https://forums.adobe.com/message/4468493#TemporaryWorkaround

  • disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin

as i said back then, i already have everything up to date: firefox, the flash player and also the drivers.

i use a pc with 64bit, so the disable protection of flash player does not apply to mine (so whether i change the option on or off, nothing changes whatsoever)

i will try to downgrade flash a couple versions to see if anything changes.

EDIT: tried 5 different previous flashplayer installations, and none works. NOT a SINGLE one.
