Thunderbird 45 update cannot send or receive messages, "SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP" errors in console. CAUSE: server is using obsolete security
Thunderbird just updated itself to version 45 and now it does not work. I can't send or receive anything, error console is full of entries:
Could not read chrome manifest 'file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Mozilla%20Thunderbird/chrome.manifest'.
Could not read chrome manifest 'jar:file:///C:/Program%20Files%20(x86)/Mozilla%20Thunderbird/extensions/%7B972ce4c6-7e08-4474-a285-3208198ce6fd%7D.xpi!/chrome.manifest'.

This grid-template warning is repeated about 20 times with different variables and then the can't connect to server entries are last on the list:

I have no extensions, add-ons or customization's. Program worked fine until this happened. Please help!!!

I uninstalled 45 and reinstalled 38.7.2 solved all of the above issues. Don't think 45 is ready for prime time.

I don't think your mail server is ready for prime time. It's security is obsolete. Hence the error message below and your inability to get mail.
Error code: <a id="errorCode" title="SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP">SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP</a>
So I suggest you start now ask your provider to fix their server security, as Thunderbird will not be reducing it's security to allow for incorrectly configured mail servers.
