There is a little white box that covers the close button of the popup blocker.http://home.comcast.net/~s.oravec/ble.../littleWhitebox.jpg
I can not close the popup blocker when you hover over the white box it moves left and right.

When I get popups with no way to get rid of them, I click the "back arrow".
Hopes this works for you!
Good luck~Donna
that's a miss, sorry but that's not the proper way of handling things the little white box is there all the time ..
Here it is with no popup.
Sorry, hope a tech helps you soon.
PS It just rang a bell for me...I sometimes get a white banner, when I try to leave a site to go to another (with no arrow to get rid of it), so that is what I was referring to, when I said I used the back arrow. Your problem is different.
Good luck!

Do you see the LITTLE WHITE BOX This is here no matter if the popup blocker is enabled or disabled.

You weren't exactly clear as what you wanted help with.
Can you remember what the popup was, that left this white box behind?
The support page said that if it's not a FF popup, then you may have malware.
I'm not a techie, just trying to you help you here.
I'll let you wait for a techie. Hope you get it resolved.
Well if you re-read the post,
There is a little white box that covers the close button of the popup blocker
I CAN NOT CLOSE THE POPUP BLOCKER UNLESS I CLOSE THE PAGE COMPLETELY
Look I can't put it any simpler than this.
Figured out what is causing the white box, it was an Extension called ColorZilla 2.6.2.1
