Firefox uses more than 1GB of RAM
Hi, i've been using Google Chrome for most of the time and recently decided to move to Mozilla because i prefer their privacy, transparency and it being Open Source. After listening to a lot of people saying that Firefox uses significantlly less RAM than Chrome, i found out that this is not the case. Chrome with 3 tabs open, uses around 400-500MB of RAM while with Firefox on the other hand -with the same tabs open- the RAM usages varies from 800MB - 1.4 GB of RAM which is huge. I've read the guide on how to solve this but it didn't do anything for me.
Does anybody know how to fix this? I have 16GB of RAM available so 1.4GB is not that huge but i don't see the reason behind using so many resources for "simple" tasks.
PS: I only use 4 addons (ublock origin, bitwarden, midnight lizard and stylish) & (i'm on the newest version)
Endret

Oops, I'm sorry - it was "dimitrob210", who also posted in this thread. Clicking on his profile to see what his message was about, led me to this thread.
My apologies ....
But look on the bright side : You posted this question more than three weeks ago and haven't received any response yet - this just might help ......
