Since the last update my Firefox performance has been awful - slow, full of lag and frustrating as hell! I’m thinking of leaving Firefox as I am so annoyed with the performance of it, I use Flickr heavily and I cannot access photos and users without a long wait.

What have you done to a formerly brilliant program?? You have ruined it!!

Hi Deltic21,

I get the feeling that you think the people here are developers or Mozilla employees. They're not. The people that answer questions here are users just like you, volunteering their time.

As far as performance, the latest version should appear faster. Can you please try the instructions in the following article: Quick fixes if your Firefox slows down

Hi Chris

Thank you for taking time to reply, I thought/hoped that someone would see this, I didn’t realise that no one from Mozilla was one here. I will read up on the link you have posted and see if it makes any difference.

@Deltic21, when your FF update what bit version was it prior to the update? I seen where the old bit version wasn't the same as the installed version because the updated version matches your O/S bit version and that has also in itself caused some FF problems. So can you elaborate on this part?
