How can I create a non-global, automatic cc rule, based on recipient?

Hello. There is a single family member I exchange mail with with who needs me to use both her work and home email addresses every time I send mail to her. So each time I email her, I have to click the CC field and fill in her other address. Sometimes I accidentally click on a similar name that happens to be listed next to hers in the popup list that appears.

The option for automatic CC in Accounts -> Copies and Folders is global, and based on the sender's address, not the recipient.

I need a NON-GLOBAL option to choose her specific email address, as the ONLY one to get CC automatically, and be able to enter that secondary address so TB can fill in automatically. I have spent the last 3 hours searching Add-Ins and reading forums and have not been able to find a solution for this simple task. Thanks in advance!

I just figured out I can use the "mailing list" feature and just create a list with only her two addresses in it. I will leave my question and this answer in case it helps someone else.

If there is also another more elegant solution based on per-recipient rules vs creating a mailing list (though this is easy), I will check back.

Thanks.

I figure you can use a filter on the sent mail to forward it to the other address as well.

That sounds good too, but when I opened Message Filters it looks like only applies to incoming mail (choices are to run when Checking Mail or Run manually, but no option to run when Sending mail). ??

Which version of Thunderbird do you have? Filtering when sending has been in place for some time now.

That explains it. I am using 17.0.6. I did not like the newer version when I tried it. I use Noia + other Add-Ons (and Enigma) and this is one program I don't care to update. Will stick with using the mailing list feature, but it's nice to know that is available in newer versions. Thanks to all.
