How do I disable the tips that frequently appear at the bottom of the bookmark/history/etc screens?

Frequently, when I use FireFox Android, the bottom the the bookmark and history screens will be covered by another new "tip" such as "One of these 15 fresh looks just might grow on you. Go green with your theme." These are a nuisance. How do I disable them entirely? (Not just dismissing one at a time, because there always seem to be new ones every few days.)

I'm not sure, but try this:

(1) Open a new tab to about:config (type about:config in the Awesomebar and tap the go arrow or tap Enter).

You may want to bookmark this for easier future access.

(2) In the search box, type snip and pause while Firefox filters the list

(3) Scroll down to browser.snippets.enabled and tap the preference to display the controls. Then tap Toggle to switch the value from true to false.

Not sure how soon you might notice not seeing those little messages, but if you don't see them for a few days, that could mean this worked.
