I get this error message anytime when I try log in on mail.live.com using my email [email protected] but when I use secondary account email address I can log in without any errors. Nothing has change exempt my email addresses. I have tried all other fixes which have been posted to fix this problem. When I look into more about the error, I notice Firefox was trying to log in to my yahoo mail account, which is mail.yahoo.com. Why is Firefox trying to log in on yahoo when I typed in live.com URL.

This just started couple weeks ago, up until then I could log in to my live.com account. No virus or malware or time wrong. I get the like error message with IE and Chrome. Where is problem and how to fix??

When you log in to a Live Mail (Hotmail, Outlook.com, etc.) account, you should always be on this domain:

https://login.live.com/login.srf

Then the site will redirect to a particular server, such as

col125.mail.live.com

It's possible that your accounts are on different servers and that one of them has a certificate Firefox finds disagreeable while the other one is fine. If the problem is with the following server, please see the linked threads for suggestions:

bay174.mail.live.com
