Have you uninstalled 'MacKeeper'
Endret
I did and I used EasyFind to get rid of any files let behind which might have been invisible. I think if I can clean my mozilla cache, that might help.
Try resetting your browser. You may want to reset your other browsers as well just in case. This sounds like a case of some sticky adware.

Thanks. The site that I first used to download Firefox was http://mozilla-firefox.en.softonic.com/mac. This is the site that implanted Mackeeper onto my hard drive and inserted the worm into my browser. People should be alerted not to use this site.
