When i try to open a link on Face Boock i recive a 403 forbidden message , if i try to open the same link with another browser it works . Why this happens only with firefox ? Ex. Forbidden

Are you using a bookmark or clicking a link on a web page when you get this error?

In case of a bookmark you need to delete this bookmark and navigate to this page via the Facebook home page.


Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.


Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

I get this error when i click a link on a web page . I use Kaspersky Internet Security 13,0,1,4190 and is up to date . This happen only with fire fox .
