one certain website, won't let me print several pages. trys to fit all pages in one!
There is a credit card account that when I try to print the statement, the bottom of the first page "squishes" all on the bottom. The statement could be 4 pages long, doesn't matter, it tried to "squish" on bottom of first page. The first 3/4 of the page statement prints out fine. This just started happening approx. 3 weeks ago, Worked fine before. I have to go to Internet Explorer or Google CHrome if I want to print out my statement. And like I said, this only happens with this credit card statement, nothing else. Is it their website?

Often such statements are PDF documents. Does the statement open in Firefox's new PDF Viewer? You can spot it by the dark background and unique toolbar. The Viewer has problems with various PDF format features, so if you prefer to print directly from the browser, you might consider using the Adobe plugin instead. No, not opening in PDF. I did have trouble opening this credit card statement in PDF before, would crash my computer, but since then have gotten a new computer (last week) and have not tried it yet. But what I am talking about, is looking at the current statement up to date, so I don't have to open in PDF. Just trying to print what I see right in front of me. I do Print Preview, and it shows how its all mangled together at the end.
Firefox has problems printing some styles in HTML pages that appear normal on the screen, but since this is confidential information, it's hard to give any suggestions on what to try, and it's probably not helpful to suggest hacking the page. The following are general suggestions.
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
- right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page and logging in again. Does that help?
Could you try Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode.
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using
Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
In the dialog, click "Start in Safe Mode" (not Reset)
Safe mode does not automatically disable plugins. Flash should be fine, but you could disable the others here:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Plugins category
