I set up my new Mac using my daughter's external drive. Now the Firefox navigation bar and bookmarks are hers, not mine. and I can't change them in the preferen

I notice that my navigation and bookmarks are configured correctly on my iPad. Is there any way to sync the iMac with the iPad? I got into the profile folder on the imac, but didn't know what to do from there.
