Only happens with Google on firefox.

Initially affected everything google including youtube.

Now just seems to be affecting my googlemail and YouTube whenever I try to sign in to my youtube account..

Every time I try to log on via Firefox I just get a screen filled with random symbols.

Tried deleting Firefox & upgrading & restarting. Tried un-installing & re-installing Google toolbar etc but no joy.

Have asked around & looked on the net but no-one seems to be able to help me. :(

This problem is only on Firefox. I can get everything google on Internet Explorer with no problems.

AS I cant seem to post a screen shot here I will try to do it via a comment in a minute...

Really appreciate some help with this as it's driving me nuts! ;)

You can check the network.http.* prefs on the about:config page and reset all bold user set network.http prefs to the default value via the right-click context menu -> Reset.

Check at least:

  • network.http.accept-encoding (default: gzip,deflate)
