Firefox hangs/not responding & warning unresponsive script
Hi there, I started having issues with Mozilla Firefox a couple weeks ago it would hang every 5 to 10 minutes, so I did everything the official Mozilla Firefox support page had me to do to fix it and it didn't work at all, one of the things I did was upgrade to the latest version of Firefox, since then now I've started to encounter the Warning Unresponsive Script message error while using facebook and it's rendering it pretty much useless to me. I've been using Mozilla Firefox for years and I've never had such issues before, I also tried everything to fix this script problem suggested by the official support page with no luck at all. Hopefully you guys can help me sort this, or I'll just switch to a better browser.

Can you associate the FB script error with any particular application or service?
Another thing you might try is to "reset" Firefox, which involves dropping your add-ons and some other data. This article describes what it does and, if you're interested, how to do it: Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings.
that's the only I forgot to try, sorry.
will reply back here, if i'm still getting the same errors.
It worked fine for a couple hours I used it after Resetting, now it's back again.
A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.

As a one-hour-a-week Facebook user who stays logged out at all other times, I don't think I'll be able to re-create this error. Hopefully another volunteer has some insights on it.
That's quite alright, your help and insight is much appreciated either way so thanks.
So there are no actual MF support employees to help us users?
Too bad, always loved Firefox, Hello Google Chrome.
For me it seems to be Flash related. Had this on Youtube and sandbox.paypal.com (the second one killed Flashblock initially, then after disabling that was stuck in an endless loop in global.js somewhere and stopped happening after disabling Flash).
FF 13.0.1 Win7 X64 (multiple addons incl Firebug, Adblock, Flashblock) Flash 11.3.300.262 (Java was already disabled)
Hi mrmc, there are some compatibility issues between the latest Flash player and some Firefox add-ons or settings. Could you see whether anything in this article helps: Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox.
