According to my virus protector, AVG, I have routinely been using quite a bit of memory when I'm using Firefox. Is this true, and if so, can I reduce the memory usage?

Since I haven't encountered the problem now in a couple of days, I would say that the upgrade solved my problem. Since I wasn't having it every single time, I did want to wait a few days after the upgrade to be sure it was correctly working, and now, I believe that I can say it is.
