How can I change the language of the menu after an unwanted download which is in Polish?

Firefox advised me that my 3.06.23 is unstable and advised me to upgrade. Since I have a powerpc processor I choose version 4. Instead came version 7, which replaced my current Dutch version but was not accessable. (I misread the replacement 'newer version' which appeared to be my 3.06.) After that the Mozilla site gave no clue how to get my replaced version back. In the google-list I chose an 'old' download, but now my menu is partly Polish/partly Dutch and some sites also appear that way. It is a bit of a nuisance.

Firefox 4 versions and later do not run on a PowerPC Mac.
Firefox 4 and later require at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.
