How do I specify the length of the drop down list of the location bar?
I am referring to the drop down list that is accessed by pressing the down arrow on the right edge of the location bar. It may also be referred to as the auto suggest list BEFORE you have typed in any character for a new URL.
Although my laptop and desktop have both the same operating systems (Windows 7 professional 64 bit) and the same versions of Firefox, my laptop displays 10 locations while my desktop only displays 3.

Although this should have solved the problem, it didn't. I tried different lengths and even restarted Firefox, the length of the drop down menu is stuck at four (it's always been four and not the three that I stated in my question).
Any other suggestions?
I should have included that only the drop down menu accessed by pressing the arrow on the right edge of the location bar is limited to a length of four. The length of auto suggestion list DOES change after a character for a new URL is entered.
Also, I tried making changes on my laptop and the length of list changes as it should. In contrast, the length does not change on the desktop. Again, the operating systems and Firefox versions are the same on both computers.
