I have turned of Browsing history but I find that most of the pages I visited are bookmarked under Unsorted Bookmarks. This is accidently leaving a Browsing history. Is there any way of stopping this?

I have turned off Browsing history but I find that most of the pages I visited are bookmarked under Unsorted Bookmarks. This is accidentally leaving a Browsing history. I have to go in and delete each Bookmark one at a time since there is no way of mass deleting items in Unsorted Bookmarks. Is there any way of stopping this logging to Unsorted Bookmarks?

Firefox doesn't bookmark pages automatically to the Unsorted folder unless you click the star on the location bar.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
