Access website
Hi, can you help? I can't access morphy richards website from my phone and my pc through Firefox. I can access it through Microsoft Edge on my pc and my Samsung Internet app on my phone but not through my Firefox app or windows 11 Pro desktop pc. I get this message on my pc
Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site. We can’t connect to the server at www.morphyrichards.com. If you entered the right address, you can: Try again later Check your network connection Check that Firefox has permission to access the web you might be connected but behind a firewall
and this message on my phone through the Firefox app
Address Not Found. The browser could not find the host server for the provided address. Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your device’s data or Wi-Fi connection.
Steps I have taken is clearing data, history and cache on pc, turning off mcafee firewall. I use my pc through a wired Internet connection and my phone through Wi-Fi and data and it's the same on both I can't access the website. Like I mentioned I can access it no problems through Microsoft Edge on my pc and Samsung Internet app on my phone so I have now pinpointed it to Mozilla Firefox being the issue, also this is the only website I have issues with. Please can you help? Regards, Steve

Hi
I am in the UK and I am seeing the same problem with that website.
I think it may be an issue with the Domain Name Service (DNS) as changing that from the default allowed me to see the page. If you are in the UK, would it be safe to assume that you are using BT?
You may wish to try following the section in this guide titled "Switching providers" - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-dns-over-https which will show you how to change your DNS settings in Firefox on the desktop.

I have tried that but it didn't make any difference. If it was that it wouldn't let me access the site through Wi-Fi on my phone, I tried it on my Samsung smart tv and it wouldn’t let me access the site either. I have now noticed Microsoft Edge is doing the same so it's either my pc or internet provider blocking access to this website.
Yeah, cheers will try that, the weird thing is I can get on Morphy Richards Australian site https://www.morphyrichards.com.au/en-au but not the UK one https://www.morphyrichards.com/en-gb.
Tell me Dropa can you access the uk website?
Full browser screenshot are more useful. The site works fine. see screenshot Did you try Firefox in Safe Mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-4troubleshoot-modesf5safe-modesf
What security software are you running? You can also try the option Forget About This Site, but make sure you know the login info if you use it. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/remove-websites-address-bar-suggestions
Tried them, still no luck. Im on mcafee, looked in mcafee settings and it's not blocking any sites, and also I don't use mcafee on my phone so I don't think it's my security blocking it. Think I may need to contact sky my service provider. It's no big real problem it's just a pain when when I've got to register a product from Morphy Richards I've got to do it on my phone. Any more suggestions anyone?
Just downloaded Google Chrome and it's fine on that, this is definetly a Firefox issue here in the UK. Is there anywhere I can actually contact therm direct?

Thanks Paul, that worked, I'm not leaving it at them settings though, not sure about how secure it is here in the UK. I've read that Mozilla have rolled out DoH in certain countries so maybe they might do here in the UK in the future. Once again thanks for that Paul.
Sorry Paul forgot to mention I'm on Sky broadband but they use B.T lines.
