I need to create a Mailing list "group" so I can send emails to multiple;e recipients. However, if I follow the posted instruction there is no selection for Mailing List when I open the address book and type the following: File> New>

These are the published instructions, but they do not work. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-create-and-use-mailing-lists-thunderbird#search

There's a New List button on the Address Book tab (see picture).

Got it. Maybe someone should update the online instructions, there is so much incorrect info online it ain't funny, it is very frustrating. Micros**t and Google are amongst the worst for outdated instructions. Thanks for the help, it is appreciated. Peter.

You are correct. Many articles are out of date. It takes quite a bit of volunteer time maintaining them. But there has been so many changes in Thunderbird in such a short time period of time, it means as soon as it has been updated, it's out of date again. I've been waiting for all the changes to take place in the Address Book before updating it. It's now opening in a tab, which you may prefer, but I don't. The Menu Bar is now mostly irrelevant in respect to the 'Address book' itself and there are minor improvements occuring all the time with new display options etc.

Once I'm sure there are no more changes, then I'll take a look at it.
