BCC and URL in body
I am encountering a bug in Thunderbird email. This situation only began a few days ago and I haven't upgraded recently. I'm using version 91.5.1 64bit.
Attempting to send a bcc email that includes an url (as far as I can tell any url) in the body fails to send with the error message:
"The message could not be sent using Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.mail.yahoo.com for an unknown reason. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again."
The number of recipients to the bcc email does not matter. It fails with only 1 or myltiple recipients. The exact same email using TO: or CC: is successful.

Does it work if you put your address in the To: box, then the other contacts in the Bcc: box?

I noticed that this problem began about mid-day on 3/24. The problem applies to both BCC and CC messages, but only when there is no entry in the TO field. I am using ATT SMTP servers and running Thunderbird 91.7.0. The problem has been confirmed on Windows 7 and Windows 10 64-bit systems. This problem does not occur using Outlook on Windows 10, nor on the Mail apps on iPhone and iPad. Nor does the problem occur when using their webmail page.

UPDATE: Today, CC messages were sent and received successfully. Last night, several such attempts failed with the same unknown error message posted above by waynewest. Also yesterday, when attempting to send a message that included entries in both the TO and BCC fields, the message failed with an error message about a problem with one of the recipients. I don't remember the exact message and can't duplicate it today. ATT tech support was unable to supply any helpful information today. (I suspect someone may have been working on the problem since it is somewhat less severe today.)

If recipient is To: only, message goes through fine. However, it fails both with url in the body using CC or BCC.
To clarify my previous post, even with recipient included in the TO field, if email also contains recipient in the CC or BCC, the email fails.
Ok, well it seem the problem is more generic that what I had described. The email fails regardless what's in the body, i.e., doesn't matter if a url is included in the body of the message or not. Also, it doesn't matter if CC of BCC is combined with a TO recipient or not.
So CC and BCC not currently working. I just updated to version 91.7.0 64 bit and same results.
