thunderbird 78 - most of addons are not working

Hi,

My wife and I had the bad surprise to have an automatic update on thunderbird 78. We lost all the addons as most of them can not work anymore. the aspect is only black and white or grey...Terribly depressing

I don't understand why, for this new update, it was automatic. The changes are so deep, the consequences so huge for the users. I choose Thunderbird, for me and the people I work with, because it's open source and you can customize. But with this version, we lost what was making it so nice. Of course I uninstall it. So disappointed to loose my friend thunderbird....

There is a beta version of LocalFolders for TB 78. Card Book can sync with Google Contacts in TB 78.
