How can I turn off auto suggestions in address bar?

I have been unable to find any search results over multiple attempts that tell me how to turn off the autosuggested results that appear in the address bar in Firefox for iOS. They are annoying, and I object to their being seemingly out of my control on privacy grounds.

Instructions for doing this in the desktop version are plentiful, easy to follow, and they work.

Note - I am NOT referring to the "show Search Suggestions" option. That I found right away...

Hi xq42, I don't think there's a way to completely turn it off, but based on your concerns, I think Firefox Focus may be a better product for you. Check it out at What is Firefox Focus for iOS?
