I am able to access my browser but I get the above message. When I click on it I get "success" sometimes and sometimes I get nothing

Could be related to captive portal detection.

If you aren't using this feature then you can disable it by setting this pref to false on the about:config page.

  • network.captive-portal-service.enabled = false
