questions about firefox's page resource loading(fetching) mechanism

hi im student, having problem with browsers page loading mechanism. if i'm right, browsers read page by sequential(top-down) order and load page resources(image,js,css ...) according its sequence; but in test using chrome, my exepectation goes wrong, whereas in test using firefox, it is work right ( just about in my test page) and in case of ajax call in my test pages (using both firefox and chrome), it doesn't work expectedly -> not top-down sequencial order

i want to know how does firefox load a resource in details, 1.does firefox load a resource a sequentially(top->down) ? 

                 2.how does firefox load about ajax call?
                 3. if does not firefox load page's resouces in (perfectly)sequential order, 
                  can i control this loading order to sequential (perfectly top-down) way? 
                 4. is there any add-on or method(api) about control loading order?
