I need to cancel my sync account

more options

I have lost access to [email protected], which is the email I used to set up my original sync account. I've since set up a new one, under this email (@gmail.com).

Will my old sync account be deleted if its unused for a certain period, or can you disable it for me? I no longer need the @alumni.rowan.edu account.

Thanks, Joe Wetterling

I don't know what happens to inactive Sync accounts, but I suspect it would have to be inactive for a long time before its contents are deleted.

If you go to the website, can you still sign in to your old account:

https://accounts.firefox.com/signin

(That assumes you remember the password for your old Sync account!)

After you sign in, the last button on the

https://accounts.firefox.com/settings

page is Delete account. Does that work?
