My Bcc email is not being sent. When my provider was Roadrunner this worked fine. Now using outlook I cannot get the Bcc to work.
I am moving from Time Warner(Roadrunner) and have to five up that e-mail address. I had been using it with no problems under Thunderbird. I recently set up a new account/ID under Thunderbird with a (Hotmail) Outlook.com email address. I have never gotten the Bcc function to work properly. I followed the instructions to set up the account with Thunderbird.
Initially I was getting duplicate entries in the Sent folder - one would just be blank at the bottom and the other would have the Avast Virus seal at the bottom. I can't remember the sequence or option but I was given the choice of using either of these 2 and I chose to keep the Avast option and remove the other which I think had my email ID. That solved the duplicate Sent issue, but I still cannot get the Bcc to work. I have been trying to send out a mass mail so that those in my contact list will get my new email address. I have checked with at least 3 folks and they say they have not received anything.

Congratulation on selecting a provider that delivers a crippled service. I suggest you change providers if you want to use BCC. Outlook simple does not allow it. Nor do they appear interested in fixing it. try Gmail. Yahoo, AOL or GMX. All of those have working BCC.
I have now been advised by Microsoft that they have rolled out a fix to about 75% of their servers and the rest should be patched within the week.
If you still have issues after a week please speak up as they are of the opinion they have fixed this issue.
I have finally made contact with a human at Microsoft that we can discuss these sorts of issues with, so perhaps we can fix this and a couple of other issues.
