I had to factory reset, reinstall Firefox android, and was forced to change my Firefox account password to sign in,now all my data is missing. I don't have access to a desktop, and trying to find my old profile may be beyond my technical ability. And, yes, I had sync turned on for all categories. Android settings sync was on too. In the past I UN installed Firefox,re-installed with no problems, but did not have to reset password to do that.

hi, firefox sync is implemented with high security, your password is the only key to decrypt your sync data! so forgetting and resetting the account password will lead to all account data being lost unfortunately... i don't think that a factory reset on android will leave a backup of your old data either, so there may be no way out of your situation :-/
