My default browser is Google but when I write something in address bar and press enter it only opens google.com
When I want to search something, I type it in the address bar and on pressing enter that thing is searched in Google. But recently whenever I type something in address bar and press enter it only opens Google(this link---https://www.google.com.pk/webhp?hl=en-GB&gws_rd=cr,ssl&ei=ZhKnVbXyNIGwU_SQhgg). Kindly tell me how to fix it.

Does the search bar work to do searches?
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
