How can I tell how many bookmarks I have?

I am setting up my new Galaxy Note 4. I downloaded Firefox and signed in using the same email address I have used to sync all of my computers (Mac's), BUT none of my bookmarks show up on my new Android Note 4. Firefox on my Note 4 looks virgin, as if I just created a new account instead of signing into my existing account. I have synced my account once before to a mobile device (an iPod 5) using the "old" syncing method using a code, and seemed to work fine. The info online mentions that all of your devices need to be up to date in order to use this newer "just sign in method" to sync; and all of my computers are running version 36.0.1.

I signed out on my Note 4 and signed back in, I revived a message that the account was verified and the data will begin syncing momentarily. But still no bookmarks.

I read that if you have over 5,000 bookmarks, Firefox on android will not sync bookmarks. So is there a way to find the number of bookmarks I have??? By determining whether or not I have exceeded the 5,000 I will be one step closer to solving my syncing problem. If anyone has any other suggestions that would help me sync my Firefox account to my new phone I would greatly appreciate you thoughts.

Final thought: According to the Mozilla website the older way to sync accounts still works BUT the directions for syncing the old way via code, are not compatible with my phone or Android OS.

Thanks in advance for any help!!!

Hi,

Your Firefox Health Report will tell you the number of bookmarks you have: On your PC: Firefox Health Report - understand your browser performance On Android: Firefox Health Report - understand your Android browser performance

Perhaps try it on both your phone and PC.

Have you logged into your new Firefox Account on your PC as well? Have your history and bookmarks synchronised?

Try also checking that bookmarks are set to sync. From your phone's main menu, open Settings > Firefox Sync > What To Sync and make sure bookmarks are tickes.

Let us know if any of these tips help!

After my permanent failures to sync had disappeared all of a sudden, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1050798 , I added more than 6000 items to my bookmarks. They are still syncing reliably with a galaxy phone.
