firefox crashes macbook retina computers

it has now been 3 months since I last used firefox.

I downloaded it onto a new macbook retina and after opening it, it did not connect to the internet and i lost connection on all browsers. Then my CPU went up to 140% and it crashes the computer. I thought it was my computer so I went in and apple gave me a brand new retina macbook!

I tried again.... same problem. I tried it on a friends computer..... same problem I have 1password add on installed... thats it.

I am a web developer so I need to test on all browsers.

Why is it crashing on new MacBooks? (old non-retina MacBooks work) I have tested now on 3 retinas with same crash. Has no one else reported this?

also i tried safe mode, new profile.... all the tricks.... nothing...

problem is solved by shutting off the switching graphics automatically option under system preferences...

this is not a fix... this is a bug... other with firefox or apple
