Hello,

This extension was last updated in 2012; it seems like it has been abandoned.

You can try contacting the developers to see if they plan on releasing an update soon:

It still works in Firefox 33, but the "trick" is to get it installed as it is an older extension and hasn't been updated in a long time as Cory mentioned.

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/forecastfox-weather/ Right-click the Add to Firefox button and use Save Links As... to save it to local disk. Then using a zip-archive program like 7-Zip right-click that XPI file and open it. Then open the install.rdf file and edit the em:maxVersion line to at least 39.0.*; then use Save As... with the same name (install.rdf). When you close 7-Zip you should be asked if you want to save the edited file- the answer is yes.

Then drag the modified XPI package into the Firefox browser window to install it.

Sorry about that. I just removed the working Forecastfox extension from that Profile to see if it would install for me with a "bump", but no go. Tried a few variations of maxVersion and just couldn't get it to install. Just have to wait until the original developer updates it properly, or "turns it over" to someone else who wants to "own it" and keep it up to date in the future.

Considering it was last updated over two years ago, I am surprised it has worked as long as it did - apparently up thru Firefox 32 for many users and 33.1 for some.
