Hello, I work for a school district and one of the schools within the district is a digital academy meaning the students work completely with laptops. The grade level of these students range from 6th to 12th grade. We need to be able to install pulgins to block explicit content and then disable private browsing's ability to subvert them. They are working on laptops provided by the school with an ubuntu linux derivative running on them. the version of firefox is 5. I have tried the solution from http://kb.mozillazine.org/User:Dickvl/Private_Browsing_disable and it works with firefox 4 but not 5. Please Help! No matter how closely a child is watched you cannot watch them all the time and parents as well as teachers need to know what kids are up to.

-Thanks

Have you rechecked the extension was updated perhaps because of you as it looks like the same date as you posted pbdisable-1.4-fx.xpi (updated Jul 2, 2011)
