Hello,

I cannot open any attachments in TB 91.5.0 in Linux (IMAP) I can open all attachments that are in the Inbox of the accounts. Every single other attachment, either in the Sent folder or transferred to other folder cannot be opened. They cannot only be not opened from inside TB (e.g. with Okular for pdf or gwenview for jpgs), they can also not be downloaded and opened. Every file that is downloaded has exactly 27 bytes. Nothing to do against it. This is the same behavior for more than 10 accounts. Every single attachment can be opened flawless in other clients.

Would be great to get that issue fixed.

Funny thing, if the message is copied from the e.g. Sent folder to Inbox the attachment that was broken can be opened without any issues.

Can you tell the forum some info on your settings:

In 'Account Settings' > 'Synchronisation & Storage' for account Is this checkbox selected 'Keep messages in all folders for this account on this computer' ? Click on 'Advanced...' button Are the checkboxes for all your folders selected so you are downloading full copies or is only the 'Inbox' selected?

Under 'Disk Space' is this selected 'synchronise all messages locally regardless of age' ?

That fixed it. Why do I have to activate anything in Advanced if "Keep messages in all folders for this account on this computer" is activated. That makes no sense at all. There was synchronise all messages activated and there was Keep messages in all folders activated. I now had to manually enable all under "Advanced" and now it works. Thanks for pointing me to that. More than 30 years of IT and there is always something to wonder :)
