Since 24 hours I've not been able to send mail from my laptop using thunderbird. I can send from my phone. I get this message:

An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: JA4h1u0034B47Fy01A4iSs message rejected due to spam or virus. If you believe this is in error please login to your portal or contact your ISP support team.. Please check the message and try again.

I have full cover from McAfee so I don't think it's a virus.

I also had a problem receiving mail the last week and Plusnet have adjusted my spam settings. I can now receive.

Thanks, Thistle! I've contacted Plusnet who are unable to help at all. I don't have a clue how to go froom here regarding contacting my ISP support team (what is that?) or login to my portal. I'm not a tech person and this language doesn't make sense to me.

It is a message from your email provider's server. Only they can tell what this is all about or fix it in the first place. I guess your best bet is to call them.
