I'm trying to watch videos on directv and I keep getting an error message that says the directv player plugin has crashed. It happens inbetween the video loading and authorizing. I've tried running in safe mode on firefox and the crash still happens. Firefox and all plugins are up to date as well. I've tried troubleshooting through the directv site and I can't find any information to help fix this. Here is the ID # from the latest crash report.

Please advise.

The crash report flagged these programs;

Process Type plugin DIRECTV Player Version:4.2

PlayerPlugin.DTV

libsystem_kernel.dylib =  ? Word for Mac

libdispatch.dylib =  ? Word for Mac

CoreFoundation =  ? Word for Mac

libsystem_c.dylib = ? Word for Mac

Foundation

Check for updates for the DIRECTV plugin.

Of late, a great many Mac computers with Microsoft programs have been crashing. Check their help site.

Thank you. I hope I can figure it out now.

Your issue is with the DirecTV plug-in (I prefer Time Warner Cable myself). It needs to be either updated or removed to prevent it crashing.
