When typing a message(s) (facebook), web address, even this questionaire, the Cursor will jump to a previous position in my sentences without rhyme or reason causing misspelled words. Its very frustrating and cumbersome as to always having to replace the cursor to the word I was typing before it automatically jumps positions

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver.
