Main Inbox not displaying messages

Hi. I realise there have been similar topics but couldnt see one that matched mine.

I have around 30-40 emails all managed in thunderbird. I used to be able to see all messages in the main inbox section at the very top. However now it is totally blank. The individual accounts still display messaged fine but its a lot more consuming to go through them individually rather than selecting them all and deleting in the main inbox section.

I would really appreciate any help on this matter!

Try this: In 'Unified' view Right click on the top main Inbox and select 'Properties' Name should be Inbox on Unified Folders. click on 'choose' button make sure all the 'Inbox' folders are selected for the different accounts. click on OK

Did you need to reselect the Inbox's?

Check that the search criteria uses the radio button for "Match all messages" and that there are no additional criteria.

Typically you'll see a greyed out "Subject" "contains" and a empty field followed by the plus and minus buttons. click on 'update'.

Perhaps you were viewing them in 'Unified' view. 'View' > 'Folders' > 'Unified'.

Thanks for the reply. I had it in unified view but still have the same problem. I made a short video of the problem here:

You absolute beauty! Thank you that did it. I don't know why they had all unticked themselves because I hadn't changed any settings?
