I cant connect to the net via 3G.
I can not connect to the net via 3G, wifi works fine. Both the Beta and Alpha have the same problem (The connection has timed out). The F/U thing about all this is FF SYNC works fine, both for my PC and the phone as well?! Opera and the stock android browser have no problems with 3G or wifi. This is what I'm using: Motorola Atrix 4G MB860 Android 2.3.6
My service provider for the phone and browsing. Name: Speakout (Rogers) APN: goam.com Proxy: 10.128.1.69 Port: 80 Username: wapuser1 Password: wap Server: <not set> MMSC: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com MMS: Proxy: 10.128.1.169 MMS: Port: 80 MCC: 302 MNC: 720 Authentication Type: None APN type: default, supl, mms APN Protocol: IPv4
Anyone have ANY ideas as to the correct settings?

Firefox for Android has a setting to only download program updates over wi-fi, but I don't think it has a setting to only browse over wi-fi.
Does Motorola include any application-specific data usage limiters that might need an exception for Firefox Mobile??

Are you just trolling?
"How to make FireFox work on Mobile Network APN? - Petro-Canada Mobility"
Not useful at all.
Although PC and Speakout are both under the ROGERS carrier here in Canada.
This issue is more than 6 months old...DO something about it!

Hi MichaelT, either software on your device is blocking Firefox Mobile, or your carrier is blocking it. What do you want Firefox to do -- pretend it is a different browser? https://addons.mozilla.org/mobile/addon/phony/
Or try forums familiar with your carrier:
"What do you want Firefox to do -- pretend?" Seriously?! You have an attitude, "I don't think", surly is your moto. If you had actually read my post, the stock browser and Opera both work with 3G and Wifi. Opera came from Google Play. Firefox(inc beta) came from GP as well. The only browser I have loaded that DOES NOT work with 3G is FIREFOX. I have a suggestion for you, why don't you "pretend that Firefox' is like the other 2 and actually works in 3G mode. That should make you happy!
Hi MichaelT, as noted in the thread about Petro-Canada Mobility,
We have had problems with mobile service providers blocking Firefox for Android because they are trying to stop people tethering to desktop devices.
As a test, you could install the Phony add-on and set Firefox to impersonate the stock browser to see whether that works around a carrier block.
If not, it could be your APN. I recommend trying one of the above-linked forums familiar with your carrier.
