the yellow bar does not show up to allow updates of adobe flash or other downloads. How do I get it to come up?
i tried to update the adobe reader, as recommended, but the yellow bar does not come up for me to allow updates or downloads. How can I get the yellow bar to come up?

I can not make the initial down load of adobe flash player. I am not updating.
As TXGuy suggested:
If you go to the Adobe site to download the current Adobe Reader: -use Firefox to download and SAVE to your hard drive (save to Desktop for easy access)
That should work for you.
"Install/Update" means install or update.
