A website I use frequently has stopped working correctly on Firefox. It still works on Safari.

The site has an autoplay video as background behind the headline at the top of the landing page. The video, and the headline and buttons below it, no longer appear; there is now a black space where they should be.

Also, the search function does not work on the site. Nothing happens when I click on the Search button.

What might be causing these problems on Firefox? I have whitelisted the site on my pop-up blocker, and I only have four extensions, all of which are basic. One is uBlock origin, but I've whitelisted the site on it.

Thanks for your help.

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Make sure you are not blocking content.
