How do I switch from just seeing words and links to seeing a webpage?
A web page for an insurance company I deal with has switched to just text and hyperlinks. I need to view it as a webpage. How do I switch back?
It may have switched due to a slow connection, but I need to see it as a webpage.
Now the page and any links I follow only open as text and links. No other webpage does this.
I can't find any way to switch it back.
Thanks for your help.

That is when the webpage does not load properly.
Load the web page. Then, to reload the page bypassing the cache and force a fresh retrieval; Ctrl+Shift+R (Mac=Command+Shift+R)
Hi kb3guz01, glad to see you on Mozilla Support Forum.
The problem with your website is slow internet wait for good connection speed or you can try this:-
- First click on menu icon.
- then, click on options.
- In left pane, you will see Privacy & Security menu, click on it.
- You will Cookies & Site data option.
- Click on manage data,a list of cached website will be open.
- Choose your website from this list.
- and click on clear data.
If it doesn't work, then feel free to ask in Reply Section. Thanks for raising your question in Mozilla Support Forum.
Fred and Shekhar, neither suggestion worked.
I assume that this is Firefox doing this rather than the website. I can login using a different browser and it's fine but I'd rather continue using Firefox.
Hello kb3guz01,
Stab in the dark, but could it be that you inadvertently turned on Reader View ?
See :

This happens when CSS files are blocked and you get a page that isn't styled.
If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.
- make sure your extensions and filters are updated to the latest version
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems
Firefox shows a blueish highlighted shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Tracking Protection is blocking content. You can click shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection. You can check in the Web Console what content is blocked.
- "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Web Developer
- https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/enhanced-tracking-protection-firefox-desktop
You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for messages about blocked content and about the presence of mixed or unsafe content.
You can check the Network Monitor to see if content is blocked or otherwise fails to load.
If necessary use "Ctrl+F5" or "Ctrl+Shift+R" (Mac: Command+Shift+R) to reload the page and bypass the cache to generate a fresh log.
