I've read the support site on mozilla and still can't figure out how to fix the srchoperaterun certificate, which expired today. I'm using Firefox and can't access any websites. The clock is set for the right day, time and time zone. Help! Thank you

Why do you need to use this certificate to access any website ?

Is this certificate used by a proxy ?

A Google search for this certificate doesn't bring up much information.

Thanks for responding. I didn't even know I had this certificate until it started causing trouble. I can't tell if there's a proxy involved. Since I asked my question, it blocks some websites and not others. I think I'm heading to Best Buy for a solution.

Looks suspicious to me. See:

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.

Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.
