Arbitrary prohibition of Kasperski, a service I paid for by Mozilla

Annoyance that Mozilla simply suspends a service for which I have paid good money, with no warning what so ever ? Require a concrete suggestion from Mozilla as to how to restore Kaskperski. Did you not try to talk to other suppliers of security services about your impending move ?? And why could you not coordinate this better with them. Yet another case of an technology entity (mostly to be considered amongst the "good guys"), simply re-writing the rules. In other industries this would not be tolerated by customers/users ! If no fix available, what proposals do you make to compensate me for my loss of service ??

Mozilla has rolled-out a fix for this. The fix will be automatically applied in the background within the next few hours, you don’t need to take active steps.

In order to be able to provide this fix on short notice, they are using the Studies system. You can check if you have studies enabled

  1. Go to [=] > Options > Privacy & Security.
  2. Make sure Allow Firefox to install and run studies is check marked.

I you had it disabled, you can disable studies again after your add-ons have been re-enabled.

They are working on a general fix that doesn't need to rely on this and will keep you updated.

Note your Kaspersky antivirus client itself is completely untouched. It was about the Kaspersky Extension installed in Firefox and depending you may not even use it.
