"Add Bookmark Here": Add bookmark directly in toolbar subfolder
For some people, adding bookmarks to folders in the bookmark toolbar is an essential task performed many times an hour. It therefore should be as convenient and quick as possible to add a bookmark in the right location.
Currently it may require clicking on the "star" icon, then increasing the size of the folder tree view (which by default is too small), then locating the correct folder (in a view that is different from the bookmark toolbar itself and thus unusual), then expanding the tree to get to the right subfolder, then click to add a bookmark.
It would be easier if there was an option like the addon "Add Bookmark Here" provides, where directly in the pulldown menu of a folder in the bookmark toolbar, there is an option "add bookmark here", to add a bookmark directly to a subfolder from the bookark toolbar. This would then simply open the same popup as the star icon, but with the location already set.
One can argue that similar speed can be achieved via the traditional approach with training, HOWEVER - the workflow should be intuitive: people typically have a context in mind where they want to add the bookmark, thus being able to add a bookmark right to the place where one would expect to wish to find it is much more straightforward - from the star icon folder view, the context of other bookmarks in the folders is not visible - in the bookmark toolbar itself, bookmarks can be conveniently rearranged, which is often done after adding new ones, being able to do that in one place would speed up the workflow.
Unfortunately the "add bookmark here" add on is not compatible with Firefox Quantum, which is why i have not yet updated. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-bookmark-here-2/
I would propose such an essential feature like the "add bookmark here" add on to be part of Firefox.

Found a possible workaround on this reddit thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/77oahk/equivalent_of_the_add_bookmark_here_extension/
It is possible to simply drag a tab into the bookmark toolbar and also in subfolders to add that page as bookmark there.
