WTF, Firefox? (buggy windows)
This issue is pissing me off no end! See the multiple threads on it, below:
When opening a second window, Firefox switches me back to the first one and it's driving me crazy. Please don't tell me the bug is "impossible to fix" and pass the buck to Adobe. I engineer software myself and such a reply is far from acceptable. Sure, I've no doubt Adobe is culpable too, but I don't have time to write everyone an e-mail, especially if they couldn't give a damn.

please see if you still have this issue when you try firefox 34 nightly, as this might be related to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=768802 which was recently fixed.
locking this thread - please continue over here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1018055
Am I correct in saying this bug has just been addressed? (...and that you are suggesting I try the new version in which the fix has been implemented.)
ok, the fix has been backed out from firefox again, since the issue seems to be addressed by adobe's flash player 15 - please update at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Why are their two open threads about this topic for the same user?
I locked this thread to allow his other thread - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1018055 - to continue.
What is the point in providing answers in two thread about "window focus" for the same user?
It's not the same issue.
Oops, marked your reply "helpful" by accident.
Thank you for the info about Flash 15. I will try it out.
The other thread ended up about how the forum works and about removing/modifying a thread created in the past (we do not remove threads) and didn't address a specific issue/question with Firefox, that is done in this thread. So to me that are separate subjects (the other thread might be a candidate for locking as we have explained how this forum works).
Edit: Flash 15 fixed my other issue though not sure about whether this issue is affected. It's hard to recreate, but will know within a day or so.

Ooops, posted in the wrong thread.
Well, if you don't delete threads then do something about that thread being marked as "a solution". It is totally misleading.
